So be patient with me and in the end we’ll have something amazing.

COMIC BOOK CLUB!

Hi peoples.

I know I know. I suck and haven’t posted ANYTHING in forever BUT I’m working on things in the background that are gonna make everything that is DMI more awesome.

I’m assembling a dream team for DMI as well as figuring out some things to help get the word out about us.

The search for creators for NOBODIES, Volume 2 is underway so if you’re interested you should totally start sending things to our SUBMISSION page.

And remember we have a bitching store (link above). Christmas IS around the corner. Just saying.

In the meantime I’ll be the special guest for the Comic Book Club on November 22nd at the People’s Improve Theatre in New York City on 123 East 24 Street.

I’ll have some books being given out and we’ll be discussing world domination.

I’m working on some secret things for now but we’ll also be at some conventions in early 2012 so keep your ears glued (or eyes?).

And of course I owe interviews and new pics. All in due time. I have a plan.

And what the hell, here’s a little sneak peak at a new project coming in 2012 titled DANGER MEN. Ice cream truck gun fights, animal mascots, and bumbling assassins. And that’s just the 1st chapter! Get hype!

Ben Philippe. Jeez where do I even start? We met back in the day when we interned for Marvel in the X-Men office. He was there when I was dreaming big and he still lingers. He’s pretty talented and can come up with some amazing ideas when the juices are flowing. We’ve had our shares of cursing each other out while working together (always 100% his fault, of course) but in the end we respect each other and have pretty similar sensibilities. I’m sure he owes me about five sushi dinners but he decided to run away to Texas. I asked Ben a few questions and got out some dirty little secrets and some new MDG art by yours truly!
